The school is located at Machlandapur Gram panchayat of Habra-I block of north 24 paraganas district. The school is government aided, consisting of 2800 students and 47 teachers. ARU was installed in 2008 and existing sanitation system was remodeled at request of the school authority. Now water system of the school has got a superior form with their genuine interest. They have made water outlet in every floor of the building. Maintenance of the sanitary block and water system has been carried out regularly by WATSAN committee of 17 members. It can be mentioned in this context, that the school authority is as enthusiastic as they have include arsenic issue in the question paper of annual examination of class VII and class IX and now they are trying to include arsenic related matter in their year calendar.
