Nabarun Sangha is located on Naya Samaj road which falls under Ashoknagar Kalyangarh Municipal jurisdiction, in ward No 7 within North 24 Parganas district, about 3 kms away from Habra Railway Station. The club was founded at 1965. It was functioning as a non-profitable association by a group of volunteers. Previously the club extended its support to organizing of numerous health camps like blood donation, awareness camp, different sports activities etc. When arsenic contamination in water exposed to be a big concern in terms of health issues the club played the key roll. They initiated the process by making application to BESUS and still pursuing their endeavor. Primarily introducing of water tariff was a challenge for them but the process is still going on successfully as a result of awareness generation about arsenic issues. The activities include upkeep of paper work and upgradation of fund.
