Jyotsna Bachhar is caretaker of ARU installed at Kamargoria village, Majhergram Panchayat, Ranaghat-II block of Nadia district. She is an educated and energetic lady who exerts her hard work to keep functioning of this said unit. She does backwashing, cleaning and other respective activities meticulously and updates relevant paperwork scrupulously but earns only Rs. 100 per month in exchange of hard work. In addition to her role as a caretaker she involves herself as a member of local Self Help Group. She is the Secretary of Water Committee also. Right from the initial stage she contributed her labor to keep this unit functional. In one word we can say that she is the driving force behind the unit.
